Kathy Bransfield

Kathy Bransfield, a creative person by nature, is an inspired jewelry designer who reached a turning point in life at the age of 11 with the opportunity to meet and paint along side the legendary TV artist Bob Ross. It was this experience where she realized she wanted to devote her life to art.

At age 15, Kathy Bransfield left home began selling her own beaded jewelry designs to finance her travels across the country while following The Grateful Dead. Not long after she hit a creative ceiling with beadwork and took classes to be a metal-smith. Inspired by a love poem that hung behind her workbench her first "Book Necklace" was created. Bransfield's unique jewelry design was a tiny adornment with hand-stamped pages that held the world for her. This handcrafted jewelry creation served as the foundation for many pieces to come that pay homage to writers whose quotes helped her to find solace and strength through the toughest of times.

A lover of travel, Kathy Bransfield feels that her journeys to other lands and experiencing new cultures have been an inspiration for her women's jewelry designs. She hopes to share history's most brilliant visionaries with you through her unique Sterling silver jewellery creations. Unlike a traditional pendant or locket, many of her wearable art pieces are just that, a work of art that opens to reveal a hand-stamped quotation or images to capture life's complex beauty, diversity, and human faith.
