Chan Luu

A Vietnam native, Chan Luu followed her dream of becoming a fashion jewelry designer when she moved to Los Angeles and enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising earning a degree in Fashion Design in 1975. Luu started her first line of fashion jewelry with a combination of precious metals, semi-precious stones, and pearls.

Today Luu’s creations can be seen all over the Globe, from Neiman Marcus to Harvy Nichols. Chan’s unique jewelry pieces have been featured in Vogue, Elle, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar and InStyle. With popular collections including fashion jewelry, fine jewelry and popular vintage jewelry, Luu has made a mark in the industry. Luu’s creations have even walked the red carpet worn by some of Hollywoods elite, including Sandra Bullock, Mischa Barton, Jennifer Anniston, and Brittney Spears.

When Chan Luu is not busy at work crafting unique jewelry, she is an avid tennis player and scuba diver and also enjoys gardening and cooking for her friends. While she currently residing in Pacific Palisades with her dogs, Henry and Benji, we, at Dandelion Jewelry, have enjoyed getting to know Chan Luu and her wonderful staff.
